Ham and Provolone Sliders
These melty ham and provolone sandwiches are the perfect addition to an appetizer table or as a quick and easy make ahead lunch! This recipe is easy to adjust depending on the size of the crowd you will be feeding. I typically buy the twin pack of rolls from Costco and will use one entire 16 roll package and one additional row from a second package. I find that this fits the baking dish perfectly. Use this recipe as a guide and you can adjust how much or how little ham and cheese you like to use as well. Our kids love Hawaiian Pizza (ham, cheese, and pineapple) so sometimes to change things up we will add a few pineapple tidbits to the ham and cheese layer for the perfect salty sweet combo.
Ingredients
- Hawaiian Rolls
- 1 pound Boar's Head ham (or ham of choice)
- 7 slices of Provolone cheese
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter melted
- 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon granulated onion
- 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.

- Slice Sweet Hawaiian Rolls horizontally through the bread making a top and bottom. Do not separate the individual rolls. Place the bottom half into a 9x13 baking dish.

- Lay the ham onto the rolls.

- Arrange cheese slices on top of the ham.

- Finally, add the top layer of rolls.
- In a microwave safe dish melt one stick of butter. After the butter is melted stir in the dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and granulated onion. Pour over top of the rolls.

- Sprinkle the poppy seeds on top.

- Place in 350 degree F oven and depending on how dark you like the rolls bake for 17-20 minutes.
